About Amy

Amy is an attorney with a J.D. from George Washington University Law School and an undergraduate degree from the University of Massachusetts. Although not a member of the South Carolina Bar, Amy was admitted to the New York, Maryland and District of Columbia Bars.

In addition to her work as a certified Guardian ad Litem, Amy has also been a volunteer Guardian ad Litem since 2003. In her capacity as a volunteer GAL, Amy represents children in Family Court proceedings related to charges of abuse and neglect.

Amy has also been a dedicated volunteer with leadership positions such as Chair of the School Improvement Council at Greenville High School, PTA President at Hillcrest Middle School, and Executive Board Member positions at the Charles Townes Center, Bells Crossing Elementary School, and the Greenville High Booster Club. She has also been for many years the President of the Friends of the Greenville County Guardian ad Litem Program, a 501(c)(3) organization.
