Amy Karmilovich is a certified Guardian ad Litem in Family Court cases. In her role as a court-appointed GAL, she is the advocate for children in contested matters such as divorce, custody and visitation. After being appointed by the Family Court, she conducts a thorough investigation which typically includes interviewing parties and witnesses, reviewing financial, medical, school and court records, providing a report to the court, and testifying in court. She also helps facilitate mediations aimed at settling disputes outside of court.

Amy is also certified as a mediator in Family Court cases.
